We are the largest U.S. manufacturer of fiberglass hopper barge covers used primarily on grain barges. We also produce fiberglass covers for barges used in the U.S Coastal trade.
Composition
Arcosa Marine Components’ barge covers are composed of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) laminate. The color is molded into the surface by use of a gelcoat and requires no painting.
Each barge set is comprised of male, female, and end cover sections.
Stacking
Barge Covers are equipped with Lifting Eye / Clamp Assemblies for easy removal, and they are made to be stacked for storage.
